Our Commitment to Your Puppy’s Health

At Oh My Doodness, we stand behind the health and happiness of every puppy we raise. Our comprehensive health guarantee reflects our confidence in our breeding practices and dedication to providing families with healthy, joyful companions. Here’s what you can expect:

Initial Health Assurance

Healthy Start Guarantee: Every puppy is warranted to be in good health and free from communicable diseases at the time of transfer. We ensure they’ve received age-appropriate care including a thorough veterinary examination before joining your family.

Vet Check Window: You have 3 business days after taking possession to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian (at your cost). If any pre-existing health issues are identified, you may immediately return the puppy with a vet’s written statement in the same condition the puppy was delivered to you for a full refund of the purchase price.

Complimentary Pet Insurance for Peace of Mind

Pet Insurance: We’ve partnered with Trupanion to offer 30 days of free medical coverage starting from pickup, helping cover unexpected vet visits during those crucial first weeks. Activation is optional but highly recommended—it’s our way of supporting your puppy’s smooth transition. Note: Our full health guarantee requires active coverage at or before pickup; alternative providers are welcome with proof.

2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

Long-Term Protection: We’re proud to offer a 2-year warranty against life-threatening, crippling, or disabling congenital (genetic) defects that has a significant impact on their quality of life. If such an issue arises, we’ll happily replace your puppy with another from our program. This guarantee underscores our commitment to ethical breeding and the strong lineage of our genetic and health tested Multigenerational Goldendoodles.

Important Notes for Responsible Ownership

Exclusions: While our guarantee is robust, it does not cover common breed-related or environmental conditions such as cherry eye, entropion, ectropion, allergies, undescended testicles, loose knees or hips, dermatitis, demodectic mange, heat stroke, abuse/neglect, or improper socialization.

Your Role: We ask that you research the breed thoroughly and commit to ongoing care, including nutritious food, regular vet visits, and vaccinations. All medical costs after possession are your responsibility.

Lifetime Return Policy: If circumstances change, we’ll always accept your puppy back at any time—for any reason—with no questions asked (though no refund will be issued).
